Hello everyone, I just finished orientation and I'll be leaving with my trainer tomorrow for 8 weeks. I'm a little nervous because I'm not much of a people person so being stuck in a small cab with someone for 2 months is not my idea of fun! I was just wondering what I should expect. He lives about 1000 miles away from me so I don't expect to be home in those 2 months which sucks. Anybody mind sharing their experience and putting my mind at ease. Thanks!

It's something to endure. You might luck out and get a trainer that will actually train. What company is it?

System Transport. They seem to have a pretty good training program that actually requires the trainer to be in the passenger seat while you're driving. At least for the first six weeks. Each week you are only allowed to drive a certain amount of time until you work up to a full 11 hrs.

Being an introvert myself, 8 weeks sounds brutal. You might try taking Rhodiola Rosea. It's a plant that seems to actually help you feel relaxed in social situations. Google it.

Sounds good. I'm sure they gave you an idea what to pack ie. pack light, not much room. Hopefully you get a bather and won't need some vicks vapor rub to put under your nose lol. Good luck.

If your trainer isnt doing his job...TRAINING YOU...ask for another trainer. Alot of these trainers are only in it for the money. Learn to bite your lip, but also learn where to draw the line.

Tried to pack as light as I could but it's winter and I had to fly up here so I had to pack some heavy clothing which takes room. I have a large luggage bag and a large duffle bag, but the duffle bag is holding my pillow, sheet, and sleeping bag so once I make my bed I can just fold it up.

Best of luck to you… I'll be in your shoes soon. Not much of a talker myself, but the training has to be done. Probably won't be that bad, and if it is you can always get another trainer.
