I was with schneider for a little over a year and I must say I was very happy with them. I started on a 5/2 then went to a 4/4. But since day one when I got my cdl I wanted a local job. Finally earned that job with nfi and started last wednesday, so I bid farewell to the great pumpkin.
I did have some issues with them over the past few months, but it was still a good run with them.:biggrin_25519:
schneider 42665 signing off, nfi signing on.

T-ThatDeal, SHC and 123456 Thank this.

you had a local job and our now with schneider?
did you not have enough experience to not require training?
sni was great, loved driving for them. hated being out on the road. at least the 4/4 rotation kept me sane long enough to get the local job. was an otr driver with swift for 5 months prior to my time at sni

    The Challenger Thanks this.

Schneider as with most otr companies will not count local driving as driving so say you do a year local and come back to Schneider they most likely will only give you 1 year credit (the year you were with them). So most times a local driver needs some one to show the ropes to them because as you know otr is a whole different ball game.

Yes I just finish orientation in Green Bay,WI. I only have 10mo. driving experience. The local job started having other truck companies deliver for us. Since they don't want to by newer equipment. I looked at other companies and they want more experience. So now I'm with Schneider on regional 6 days on 3 days off. Only doing this to get the OTR experience for now and then when more doors open up I will come back to a local job!

    SHC Thanks this.

Good plan. Keep an eye out for Schneider local stuff. I am on a JC Penney acct. and am home daily. It unfortunately will be ending as Penney's will close this facility next year.
