    Someone previously mentioned Leatherman.
I found the Gerber Multi-tool and love it. Great tight hinge on the needle nose plier.
Use it every day for something. Philips, straight screwdriver etc.
Real good quality and blades (2) strait and serrated, stay sharp a long time.
I use the Smith's sharpener with 2 carbide scrapers and diamond hone file.

Pocket knife for 25 yrs. has been Victorianox Swiss Officers with the scissors.
    Use that every day, too.

Gerber makes a great "Gerber Mark II Commando Knife." Google it.
Had one back in 1969 with a leather sheath, and sharpening stone built into it.
Sold it for $150.00 one time I was hard up for cash - and regretted it ever since.

    x1Heavy Thanks this.

I don't have a photo of it but I tend to carry the Becker Necker knife. Blade length is 3 inches and its nice for cutting stuff and not a big rambo type of knife. No one ever knows I have it so they are not get threatened as it is under my shirt. I use para cord for the lanyard. As far as for safety?? I just use my head, keep checking my six, keep my eye on my environment and go ahead trusting God.
