Legal or not in CT?

    I run northeast and I was trying to adjust my tandems to get below 34000 at Pilot in Sturbridge,MA
    right before that I-84 scale in CT.
    Another driver told me that I am wasting my time and CT allows up to 36000 on tandems ...
    I've been running northeast for years - never heard of it. Do you guys know if it's true? Is anyone on this site went thru CT scale with 36000 on the tandems?

    36k is legal on tandems in ct. Look in your motor carrier atlas.
    Gotta meet the kp law too, for trailers over 48' in length.

    THE ATLAS ! I think I still have the 2011 version of rand mcnally. Never used it since then.
    Thanks for your reply, I was OK on gross but 36000 on tandems will make my life much easier driving thru CT from now on.
