We just got loaded and the weight on the trailer tandems is 35,200 pounds. I looked it up online and it says they have pretty much the same weights as the states at 34,000. I heard some other driver say you can do 37,000. Is this load legal to the haul? I would’ve just the tandems but I cannot because it is 9° out and that little button that you pull out to release the pins will not pull out even with the assistance of a crowbar and a vice grip.
Legal tandem axle weight in Canada

17,000 kg. Just under 37,500 lbs.
Same on drives, and steer is 5,500, thats near enough 12,000lbsMidnightrider909 Thanks this. -
Yup 2.20462 lbs = 1 kg. So 17,000 kgs = 37,478.54 lbs is legal up here.
Therefore 5,500 kg on steers, plus 17,000 per tandem group = 39,500 kgs or 87,082.49 lbs is legal limit for five axlesMidnightrider909 Thanks this. -
I would assume you should make sure tires are also rated for the weight to be legal.

Your tandems aren't all the way forward or back are they. 41' kingpin to rear axle group and also maximum 35% rear overhang... They generally won't mess with you on this one but they see money when American plates come through.
