Hey KF(good to see you btw), question for you...on the first pic, is that a headerboard in front of the load? If so, that has to be the tallest headerboard I've ever seen.

It's a conastoga with the tarp removed. You can see the tracks that bolt to the outside of the rubrail.

Thought so. I pulled conestoga years ago, but I don't think Ive ever seen the whole track system removed before. That's a lot of work.

That's the first one I've seen removed to. I'd bet it was just old and wore out. Cheaper to remove it and use it as a regular flat then repair it maybe.

They are actually removeable pretty easy. Loosen tarp n unhook from nose/standard to open them/ boot on each side of the rear thru the track for a fastrack brand, then slide it straight off the back. Prolly want to have some kind of stand or something at the correct height so it won't get ripped up... Could likely use a fork equipped machine to catch and to reset to put back on.

Figure if you're in a terminal/your own yard and have a OS out and maybe a no tarp or something nice n easy back it's simpler than getting ahold of a high flat that doesn't have one on it at all.

Lol couple bolts and run it off the back basically. Just need something to "catch" it

    Chewy352 Thanks this.

IMG_2149.JPG IMG_2150.JPG Yep all you guys are correct in one way or another. That was a QuickDraw trailer that the tarp was damaged. Pull two bolts at the back of the track and it rolls right off the back. Infact the oversize portion of the load was actually the broken system.

    Ruthless and Chewy352 Thank this.
