Legality of laptop/cameras in cab

    Was wondering the legalities of having a laptop in the cab hooked to the dashcam as well as another camera positioned at the dricer (myself) the entire time the truck is in motion. Would like to set up a blog that has a video streaming from the cameras through the laptop.

    Figured i could use a blue tooth mic for phone and audio with the stream if people were talkign to me and still be legal.

    Laptop would be in passenger seat and not used while driving.

    Legal or not I have a hard time believing that wouldn't distract from driving. You would find yourself always fiddling with it. One accident and the lawyers would have a field day especially if you were interacting live with someone when it happened.

    Ask all the police. They have it set up. Every time I look down at a police car, be it at a light or moving down the road, they are typing away one handed on the laptop. You'd be good, as long as you have a badge and gun.

    Not true AT ALL--most I see are typing on the laptop--and talking on their cellphone and steering with their knees!
