    Question:

If you buy a used trailer and it has graphics from the seller's company (ie..Bob's Bakery), what are the laws as far as using that trailer with those graphics until you can get around to removing them?

    Thanks!

Good question and I'm not sure. I would have required the removal of said graphics before any money changes hands.

or you could put tape over the old ones. I never bothered. Just made sure I had mine on for the trip home.

I don't mean the MC and DOT numbers though.
    I'm talking about trailer graphics...company logo...etc.

Sometimes these can be enormous and *painted* on.

I think if Bob's Bakery is not trademarked then it's ok to run around with it.

I would be bad taste to do this, beside the former owner can make your life a hassle by claiming you stole it.

Get a vinyl sign company to just out vinyl over it and move on.

I can see how it could be in bad taste. I wasn't asking with the intent of running long term, just if I were in danger of some sort of ticket in the short term while I decide what to cover it with.
In my case, the company I bought the trailer from has been out of business for several years.

Not a problem. If your power only you pull different trailers all the time. Fedex pulls Walmart trailers here in NH. There is no law for this.
