Length of Haul, Sliding Scale!

    So, under this pamphlet, it shows you make xx/cpm, with a sliding scale, based on length of haul, so it works out something like this;

    0-99mi 0.16cpm
    100-199 0.15cpm
    200-350 0.12 cpm

    and so on and so forth.

    So, let say based on those examples your run is 500 mi, Are you going to bypass the sliding scale, and get paid the base xx cpm (whatever you make), or is it xx + .16 for first 99 mil, then xx + .15 for the next hundred, and xx + .12 for the last 150miles, then the remaining 150 is only base xx cpm? Just trying to get a bit of clarification :) Thanks in advance

    You will bypass the sliding scale as long as the load is more miles than the top miles on the scale. So if its 500 miles then you will get paid your base cpm that you are getting.
