What is the actual length of a Freightliner Century from bumper to tail end of truck?
I am researching costs for if I do get a truck from schneider, what kind of space I would need for future garage / storage.
Yes I have had trucks in the dooryard before, but silly me never bothered to measure it.
Length of tractor?

Every truck is different. It's all in the wheelbase spec'ed out by the original purchaser. If you want to know the length of a standard Schneider Century, I'd post it in their forum. Trucks aren't manufactured like cars where a Ford Focus will be the same as every other Ford Focus out there.

I was asking for some one to give me a rough overall lenght of their Century or Columbia. That should give me a balpark guesstimate.
Fellow down the road has some interesting sales on steel buildings and has offered me a deal. -
To unswer your quation I need to know BBC configuration (112" ore 120"), sleeper configuration (48"? 70"?).... to measure frame rail from sleeper wall to frame end is easy.
You can use wheelbase data too.
Ok, Columbia is BBC 112 ore 120". Century class from 120" and longer. So you must understan me why I cant tell you what is the accurate lenth! -
120 is a standard tractor for most companies. Probably for the turning radius and for generic reasons.
