Lesser of three evils?

Run far away from cr england I started there their training program is 90 days 1st phase is 30 days ur with a trainer driving team. 2nd phase is 60 days where they put u in trk with additional 2nd phase students that graduated a day before u and u drive team and god forbid u make it the 90 days they tell u there are no company trks. They try 2 force u 2 lease or leave. Then OMG!!! when u go there 4 orientation with a hard copy they put u in same class with pple that don't got cdl that's 2 1/2 weeks u don't get paid. Then the dorms is 8 pple 2 a room maybe 16 x 16 sharing 1 bathroom they steal yo stuff and nastey more than likely they will salt lake is main dc. Stay away from SRT they kill their drivers and make the family pay to bring luv 1 home
Knight is the lesser of 3 but no starter company is A-1 U have 2 get in where u fit in he should get his 6-12months and he can have his choice

 

You say "he has to choose by Monday".

I really can't see why he would have to choose right this minute.
Decisions made in haste typically turn out regretted.
The 3 "choices" you listed are easily "beatable" companies, quality-wise. imo

 

Anyone here have any firsthand experience with May I've been hearing them tossed around a bit on the boards.

 

If he doesn't start a new job within a week his rent doesn't get paid. Long story. Suffice it to say if he wasn't family I probably would not associate with him. That said he's still blood so I'll help him get the least amount of screwed possible.

 

Even if he starts with any of these companies, or many others, he won't get a check for several weeks.

 

I may not have experience with srt & knight but I do have 1st hand experience with cr england I can never forget that nightmare of bus ride it took me 2 1/2 days to get there I left on friday night @10pm I did not walk into cr england complex til that monday @9am due til 1 bus I was on 2 chicago broke down and I spent over half day on side of road and spent almost the other half in a city with 1 gas station and they called the police on us because the people of my color would not leave our carry on bags , backpacks, etc outside the store then the only restaurant treated us like we had the plague

 

Any thoughts on a better starter company that will hire and train out of oregon?

While SRT was pretty sorry for the way they treated the deceased driver and his family, they did not kill him. He had a heart attack. There is enough negative stuff that is true to say about SRT without accusing them of killing someone. Just my 2 cents.
