A driver that no longer posts on here drives for them and speaks highly of the company. Does some real long runs coast to coast. He makes big paychecks he used to post. Nice trucks with APU. He would be in Oregon one day and headed for Florida the next day and so on.
Tonythetruckerdude, Longarm, Pintlehook and 1 other person Thank this. -
Chinatown Thanks this.

It's worth mentioning that Joseph would run anywhere, anytime. He definitely isn't afraid to work.

My only complaint about lessors so far is a small one regarding preplans. Way too often when they already have your next load lined up before you finish the one you're on, they wait until the last minute or close to it to send it to your Qualcomm. Having to plan things at the last minute when you could've done it well in advance is frustrating. Thankfully, this issue is one I've only experienced (so far) with the planners at the Minnesota terminal who do the load planning for the northeast, whoever they are. Other than that, things have been great. One thing I can say is if you're a driver who has a list of complaints about California and you're either unable or unwilling to get over ALL of them and move on, this company is probably not going to be a good fit. The freight volume in California seems to be getting even bigger so if going there is something you dread, I don't recommend sending your application to a recruiter. I look forward to it. I look forward to the west coast period, and money wise I have done really well so far.

If you like to make money and don't need your employer to have (or offer) many frills, this is a good company to drive for. Keep a very close eye on when your first check is loaded on to your fuel card. If you call Comdata they have a direct deposit option that allows you to deposit what's on your card directly into your bank, over the phone, using their automated system. Do this the minute your first check hits your fuel card. I did this when I started and my pay goes in the bank Friday night rather than Monday. At orientation you will be told your direct deposit will take a couple of weeks to kick in and once it does, your pay won't go in your bank account until Monday. This is a way around that. I had Comdata transfer my first check into my checking account as soon as my first check was loaded onto my fuel card, and every check since then has hit my account on Friday night instead of Monday. It worked for me, it might work for you. It's worth a try.
