What I love is the company warning me about distracted driveng hen setting up Peoplenet to keep beeping as if there's an urgent message for every little notice they send out.

Well, all of the other nonsense aside, I run a blueparott 450 and it doesn't cause a problem at all with my glasses (you mentioned it might cause a problem with glasses) and I got it because at the time, I was doing long stretches and my wife would call and we'd chat at night. It never took away from my driving, I still maintained my lane, checked my mirrors, maintained a safe following distance, etc. Prior to that I ran a basic, cheap headset and people had problems hearing me and vice versa due to the truck I was driving, having straight pipes. So even with the windows up, there was still a good bit of noise in the cab.

I switched over the the BP 450 and never had a problem after that. Once my conversation was done, I took it off. I don't quite get those that wear it 24/7, but to each his, or her own I presume. I'm local these days so I'll bring it with me in my bag in the event I need to make a call that will last a few minutes, but other than that, it usually stays in my bag. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and at this rate, it'll last me quite some time. I would like to point out that if talking on a Bluetooth headset distracts from your driving as much as some claim in this thread, then we need to really steer clear of law enforcement. I see them all day holding cell phones to their ear while driving, looking at their dash mounted lap top, talking on their radios etc. However, they seem to do just fine multitasking for what it's worth.

I wear glasses and like my 450. It’s comfy and holds a charge for a long time. Call quality is great too

My favorite headset is the one that makes me look like I’m an air traffic controller on the side. :)

Mine too. I'm looking for one that's bigger, just to bug the heck out of people who have nothing better to do than worry about what other people look like.

It's like the companies that put stickers on your mirrors telling you to GOAL. If you had put an Aerosmith sticker on your mirror they would send you for additional safety training.

That is an oddly specific example. Personal experience? :)
