Yep. People who are afraid their sniffle is the virus are running to the hospital and urgent care clinics. There they get in line and mingle with others who might really have it.
We are both in the higher risk category here, and if we get any flu/virus type symptoms we will call our family doc and take it from there.
Let us not forget those working the truck stops!

guys perhaps back to original topic. Which is those out there working in the truck stops supporting the drivers by doing their jobs.
Gearjammin' Penguin and Linte_Loco Thank this. -
Everyone has opinions on what’s right and who’s wrong. I’m sure glad the workers at truckstops are doing their best to help those of us who are out here keeping America functioning.

100,717 cases in the US.. 1,544 deaths..
Deaths are moving toward the trend of doubling every 3 days.. This is called exponential growth... but still no big deal.. right? -
Like everything else in this world, it’s gonna get worse before it gets better…

I have very little contact with people. I have not had it or spread it.
It is the heavily populated areas where people are always close to each other that make it spread so rapidly in certain areas. It is places with a lot of international travel, and a virus that can sometimes show no symptoms.
And Trump was concerned enough about it that he halted flights from China a couple months ago, and then from Europe. And people were downing him at that time for his rash decision to do so.
JonJon quoted you before I did and there is something different...
Did something get edited out before I read it?Gearjammin' Penguin and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this. -
Have you been tested? Italy has found that 20% of those who have it have zero symptoms but they spread it all the same.. If you have not been tested which by your own claim you wouldn't have been because they only test people with symptoms.. So you are going about your day and touch nothing at all every time you go to a truck stop? The doors automatically open for you? You turn the sink on with out touching it? You get soap with out touching the lever? You buy stuff with out touching anything?
They purposely left rooms on that 1st cruse ship uncleaned to test and see how long the virus lived on surfaces.. 17 days later they found it on those surfaces.. Think about that every time you touch a door knob, counter or sink handle at the next truck stop you visit..
In FL right now 9% of the people they have tested are positive for Cronavirus.. That's just 1 state with out a major outbreak center. Meaning the virus has spread that deep into the population. From all over the state 9% of those tested are positive.. Let that sink it.. but yeah I'm over reacting when I say people who shouldn't be out there are needlessly exposing those truck stop workers...
1,709 deaths and they just did a report that many deaths are not being counted as cronavirus if the people had other underlying complications.. Let me give you a tip.. NYC & LA have both stopped testing people who are not being admitted to the hospitals meaning even the dramatic rise we are seeing they have stopped testing in those 2 hot spots because if they kept testing they'd run out of test kits..but it's no big deal. you know better..
We are on pace to double deaths ever 3-4 days.. We are at 1,709.. Meaning Tues or Wed we will be 3k then 6k then 12k... it's gonna start adding up real fast.. but it's all a nuffin burger..everyone is over reacting but you... entire countries are on lock down but they are all over reacting but you.. you know better...Last edited: Mar 28, 2020
