I drove for them for a short time and had no problems other than getting home when i requested to be there. But was able to get home a day after which wasn't too bad. I left for personal reasons and it had nothing to do with Butler. They kept me busy. I rarely had to want for loads. Ran Ohio to Arkansas and up and down the east coast. They were a good company and I'm thinking I'll go back to work for them if they'll have me.

i just started working for butler and already applying again with other companies. they cheated me out of my christmas bonus, i ran 6 weeks non stop. and they still refuse to pay detention pay. you can ask your dm to submit a request, but they deny it.

Detention pay is one of those things most companies try to get out of paying. Standard excuse is we only pay the driver detention if we can collect it from the customer. But who could say of they ever really collect it or not. I would personally get about as upset getting paid detention, as deserving it and not getting it. If everyone is doing their job as well as they expect me to do mine, we would never even need detention pay to start with.
