Anyone familiar with this bridge? Trying to figure out if it is truck friendly and can’t find an answer either way on the web.
I’m at the Rebel Truck stop in Kalama (great food here and peaceful)..well except for the occasional train going by blasting its horns!
Bridge is on rt 433 I’ll be looking to cross from Longview, WA going to a pickup in Columbia City , Or off rt 30. Would like to come back through the same way I went in but will be at max gross weight (80k) in case there’s a weight restriction which I can’t find.
My only other option is a ton more miles and dealing with Portland rush hour x2.
Fwiw. Load is going to Gallup, NM so I’ll ultimately be leaving Oregon via I-84.
Thanks in advance for any local knowledge.. I’m still learning how to do this job after 8 years![]()

No restrictions I saw, and looks good in the atlas. Pretty sure I've taken it twice to Astoria

I don’t recall there being any restrictions on it, but 2017 was probably the last time I was out there.

And here's a truck headed across Northbound outta OR

Lol @Big Road Skateboard googlemaps confirms. I dont know how many times I've used the street view or scrolled the entire length of a section of highway looking for semi's running on it in the satellite view (or street view)

Thanks everyone!
Was worried because a lot of these bridges are old and decrepit and they reduced weight limits instead of rebuilding.
A year or so ago I was trying to cross from WA to OR @80k pounds and every bridge I came to wouldn’t handle the weight.
On top of that, I was literally running on fumes. Finally got to the TA in Briggs Junction and it just happened to be the day the TA burnt down!
That was one of those trucking days that test’s what you’re made of…
Will post tonight and let you all know how it went.
Thanks again!gentleroger, Siinman, Kyle G. and 2 others Thank this. -
