Lewis and Clark bridge, WA/OR

Seeing trucks running on a road is nor more a guarantee the road is legal for trucks than parking beside a parked truck prevents getting a parking ticket or getting booted.

 

Yeah you can go across that one. IDK why it isn't showing US-30 in OR as a highlighted route also. Trucks go out to Astoria on it all the time.

 

Googlemaps is just a tool. One of several. You have to use your own best judgment out there. I mean I've never driven over a bridge I wasn't supposed to be on or ripped the top of a truck off on a low bridge. I've been on some highways I regretted (what trucker hasn't?) but I didn't end up closing down that highway or in the ditch on it.

 

Ha Ha ...My head went straight to the AI in the computer did like it does license plates (programed to blur numbers)

A funny thing .....computers are also programed to blur out peoples faces so nobody can be recognized. My neighbor one christmas had Rudolph and all the reindeer and Santa on plywood in his front yard, and AI had Santa's and all of the reindeers faces blurred out. LOL witness protection maybe hehe

How are the roads up that way? I am heading to Pleasanton, Ca Monday and thinking about getting a load going north from that area. I am going the southern route right now. Most likely pass you tomorrow.
