I recently was hired to drive for Lewis after waiting for a seat to open for 3 months. I was driving for a flatbed company that was not the best fit for me.
What I have to say about Lewis is they are really good at just taking your mind off all the BS a driver has to deal with and just letting you relax and drive to the best of your abilities.
You get a company credit card so if you need anything for your job you don't have to worrie about coming out of pocket.
They give you 3000 plus miles a week so your able to make good money.
They give you health insurance witch is really important these days.
You are treated like a professional.
They give you a mileage bonus after 3200 miles for 4 straight weeks, insurance premium paid plus 2 cpm extra for all miles.
    Your paid all hub miles.
You drive KW 900, some governed at 80 mph some not governed at all.
There's probably a lot more I'm leaving out.
I'm very happy here and hope the company has great success now and in the future.

Good luck collecting that bonus after 13,600 miles. If you're in any kind of line ups at all, which are famous in hopper bottom, you'll never collect it. Unless they have loose leaf paper logs, which will soon be ending.
Most companies I've seen with a mileage bonus do it after 11,000 miles a month. It is theoretically possible to beat 3,400 per week, but with the line ups I experience, I would not be counting on it.
Glad you found a new home. I like hauling grain, as I get to talk to lots of nice farmers, and some even invite me in for dinner.

    TampaTony Thanks this.

Haven't experienced any lineups at all. It's actually 3200 miles and I have already done that the first week, running from my home in Buffalo to load in Redfield SD then unload in Worland WY, home Tuesday night and Thursday night and off duty for Saturday afternoon through Sunday. I'm loving it. Sad to say this dedicated run will end in April.
