Liars, fraud at giltner, progressive logistics, jerome, ID

Sounds typical for the Jerome area. First place I lived that I wanted to leave before I even got there.

 

Giltner, Jerome, ID. Sounds familiar Try not to complain, but I feel it is important to alert other drivers when a trucking company rips you off. These guys at Giltner, Jerome, ID, an all reefer outfit, stole my final check by going back and deducting their own advances for their lumpers and load/unloading. With Giltner, the company driver will shell out $350.00-$550.00 a week for port fees, lumpers, and sometimes pallets. When you quit, they go back and deduct enough to eliminate a couple thousand dollars from your pay. They got scammed me for $1685.00. I see a lot of other drivers have complained about Giltner on this site also. Fuel cards didn’t always work also.

 

That great but you still left? Doesn't make sense. 2009 might as well be the stone age with Giltner. The father who ran the place handed the company off to his daughter recently, and she has no interest in keeping the company going and is milking the last nickel out of it today. And being an all-reefer outfit, do you really think they can compete with England/Swift/Knight, etc at .25 cents a mile driver pay? No way. That's why there are so many complaints about them here. Just sear and see.
