You won't get an exact cost on an apportioned plate until you fill out the paperwork and they input it into the computer. You will use estimated miles your first year, but I would expect you will pay around $2,200-2,500. In addition you will need to pay your UCR, 2290 and the NY HUT tax. My state doesn't charge for IFTA, but New York may. I have a friend who has to pay for his IFTA stickers.
