. My old T600 was parked at the same pilot in Corbin when I woke up this morning. She was a good truck and who ever is driving it now got lucky.

Well I can tell you right now coming back home off the road is going to be a huge adjustment, no matter how much you love your family, it definitely takes a little time getting adjusted to being around them all the time.
I'll work it out, but I definitely need to get working. Sounds like Monday is a go as long as my drug test comes back in time. Shouldn't really be much for orientation as they don't even have 20 trucks. Small company.

Well I turned in my notice Tuesday when I got off the truck and turned in my equipment. Roehl ran me good and I loved OTR but I had a dedicated position become available that I could not refuse. Working 6 days a week home every day until the plant we are going to deliver to go backs to 5 day work days but its base salary per day. No more mileage pay to worry about just drive back and forth and stay safe. I always told people that would be my only way of leaving Roehl, is if a dedicated position opened up in Birmingham. If Roehl happens to ever get a terminal in Birmingham with a dedicated position I would go back. Until then. Stay safe!

Birmingham is the next terminal to be built. From what I heard it'll be like Dallas, one or two fuels stations, maintenance area bays, and showers and lounge. Then FL to be decided in Jacksonville or Orlando supposidly getting freight out of Miami. Its all hear say and if its true don't hold it to me on happening. 2 yrs for Birmingham and another 2 for the FL location. Will I stick around to find out I doubt it.

There's a couple companies that Have dedicated accounts for flatbed that I've seen in FL and you wont need the one yr prerequisite. The pay and details I don't know since I myself aren't looking for flatbed. But they're their. Its container freight out of Miami also I think. Like I said who knows seemed like a creditable source but I could be wrong.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this.
