@Roadrum don't get me wrong, having the Rah Rah Rah I Love It attitude is a great thing to have. I landed one of those Rock Star dream jobs years ago, I was the guy at the truckstop that everyone wanted to come talk about whats in the trailer, ask how to get that job etc and on the other side of that job I was the guy at the motorcycle rallies getting paid to play with custom choppers and in the eyes of the bikers had the dream job.
After 6 months or so it became just a job, a miserable job that required 18 hour days when not driving, wiping finger prints off the bikes, my trailer, truck etc. Pay was average, benefits were great and given the opportunity I'd be right back at it again in a heartbeat but never forget, it was just a job.

Second pic from top looks like a dealership. They have good equipment. I see them all the time at the Pine Cone T/S in Johnsons Creek,WI. Looks like a good company. I thought about talking to them years ago, but really liked the oversize loads i was pulling, and the money -
Now those are some benefits I'd trade my local job for.

So everythings off but the 19k generator, playing the waiting game for a crane, but that's how it goes sometimes. Got to run through the house this past weekend and that helped, finally got my CB, organizational storage, tools, bedding, more clothing, etc. Good to see the family and watch the game, saw some friends, and headed out to Massachusetts Monday morning.
Dispatch has me getting an oversize tomorrow to head back to Wisconsin so we will see how that goes. I've done oversize before but only in NY so I didn't really have to worry about different state permits so I'm a little worried about it , but that's why we have mentors who we can call if we need help. -
How did the oversize load go?

Oversize round one went well enough to give me a second. Nothing too crazy, both were 9' 10" so not bad. Offloaded in Newark Friday morning and had national guard commitments this past weekend. Tuesday I go back to work so well see what it brings. Looking forward to going back to work.
Hoping to go west again, I enjoyed going to California -
