I've read other stories so I thought I'd share. I am at the end, almost, of my first solo run as my trainer takes home time right before I go in for my upgrade. So the 01 is in IL picking up Thu through Sat as a drop and hook and the 02 & 90 are in Maryland and PA. Appointment times are 1800 and 2230 Monday and they are 2 hours apart. Frozen low temp load. Pick up the load before midnight Thursday and drive the rest of my hours to IN and stop for the night. Wake up start to leave on the cold morning and front right steer is at 89 lbs. Fill her to 100 and off I go. I call FM to try and fix appt. times between 02 and 90. I stop for dinner Fri and when I come back out ready to roll and the same tire is at 75. Call road assist, get in line for diagnosis and new tire and wait from 8 pm till they finally take me and fix it starting at 7 Sat morning. No word on appt. times so I call 02 and number just rings. Head to Pilot 10 minutes from the 02. And wait until 11am Monday morning. Won't change appt time and I wait until 7:30 in holding lot to go to dock. Go in to leave and 40 cases are refused. Head to 90. All goes well being 3 hours late. Now low on diesel. No hours left go to TA and fill reefer. Sleep a few hours. And finally I have a food bank to finish the load off. Time for 2nd solo run!
