Mine is blue. After a few hair pulling experiences and giving up on the waiting game when calling in after 5, I have nearly finished my first time out without a trainer.
I discovered that my truck actually has over 500K miles on it, which makes more sense for an 04. I have also made many more discoveries this past week which are too numerous to mention using the iPod.

Aw, Come on Dsquared.
Expose us to a few of your discoveries. -
American atlases aren't terribly good at portraying Canada. Get a Canadian atlas while you're there.
SmileyisSexy and RockyWI Thank this. -
I would love to say I have no complaints, but that just wouldn't be realistic with any company. While I would love to say everyone at Roehl eats rainbows and farts butterflies, that just wouldn't be fair. Yet my complaints are rather trivial and not really worth mentioning. As long as it is work, there will always be some aspect of it that gnaws at you. One example, when I thought I was finished for the night, I was told to take my empty trailer about 45 miles away, drop it and hook on to one with broken landing gear and bring it to Marshfield. It turned out to be much more than that and I spent much more time than planned to get the job done. Another thing that bugged me was the poor PM that was done on my truck when I picked it up for the first time, over a gallon low on oil, tire pressure down about 14 psi and empty fuel tanks. But enough complaining.
On the positive side of things, they are fairly understanding with us new guys when we make mistakes. I missed an exit and didn't realize it until sun up. I pulled into a rest area, checked my map and got back on track. Then I got a message from my FM asking why I was so far out of route. I told him I missed an exit, didn't realize it and that I would be about an hour late. He said "OK", that was it. I felt bad about my error, but was glad he didn't chew me out. They also have been keeping my wheels turning. I haven't quantified my miles like grc has done, but I am satisfied so far. Their hometime promise is pretty solid as well. I was out eleven and a half days and now I am home for three.
All in all, I am pleased with how things are going. You have to start somewhere and I belive Roehl is better than some of the other places I have heard about. -
Well I got hung up a little bit.....Blew both my back tires on my car and damaged my rims so that held me back two weeks so I now leave on the 2nd of November what a BUMMER! I want to get this going but i'm patient and excited at the same time. Scared the living hell out of me though I went through some construction and the only thing i hear after going through it was BANG! My eyes lit right up and i feel my back tires grinding O_O . I was not a happy camper! So I used my handy dandy AAA and called for a tow truck and cost me $700 to get the back tires fixed -.- grrrr. I'm praying for no more delays, Only thing that sucks is when I get done with school I will be driving back in the middle of winter WOOHOO looking forward to it lol.
ok take care tata bye bye then. Oh and Rocky good luck girl! let me know how it goes! love to hear new stories.

Dennis ... I'm on the same page with you ..... I have some complaints but they are minor and if that's all I have then I'm doing well ..... I had to spend the nite earlier this week in Canada due to traffic tie up causing me to run out of hours (14 hr rule) ..... I was then deadheaded to Niagara Falls to get a load bound for Mn via Canada .... knock on wood my trips thru customs were painless and only once (thru Detroit) it was time consuming ..... spent last nite in MN and get a load that I'll relay at Oak Creek ...... not sure why I'm relaying it (it's bound for Plainfield Il) but it's still a total of 367 miles for me ..... this is the shortest run in the last 9 loads and the second shortest in the last 10 so I consider myself fortunate thus far ..... we can't always get all long runs ...... for those intereted, here are the total load miles for the my loads from the current one on back 367R, 1100, 707, 1459, 429, 550, 579, 1159, 353R, 210R, 971, 1058, 683, 584R ...... the relay loads have a R ..... hope is going well for everyone else .....

They shouldn't have to find it, you need to disclose all violations like that for previous 36 months as a student application to any company. Witholing that info will just get you canned. And if you get past the first screen, and make it to orientation, your DAC will get dinged when they send you home on your dime. Just be up front with the next company. Good luck.
