Or worse, it could be the situation of having to pull in so your hoses reach the tanks, and having to back out.

There is a fuel hauling outfit around here that runs all long nose Pete's and kws with sleepers I have never understood why they run then big longwheel base trucks to get into tiny gas stations.

Holland Oil of Akron, Ohio has company drivers and owner operators, some of the owner operators have the big sleeper trucks, I don't know exactly how they manage. We have a lot of old Clark Stations that were only built on 3/4 acre lots here in Cleveland, and I guess back in the day Clark when they were in business only ran 40ft trailers or something so the trucks could navigate the lots.

If I was a tanker owner op I would just get like a used Freightliner Cascadia day cab with the snub noise that would be best ha-ha.

If I ever had the itch to go O/O for hauling fuel, I’ll buy a Volvo day cab. Best turning radius out there, in my experience anyway.

I think that company mostly runs to Northern and Eastern AZ into the rural areas.

My bid tractor my first 2 years was a snubbed nose international and I had a lot of complaints about it but turning radius was not one of them.

I’m sure legroom was one of those complaints.

I'd rather do it now when I'm still not that high on the seniority list and don't have much to lose. If I'm not wrong Messer gas is building their plant in my neck of the woods and I have Praxair, Air Produtcs and Air Gas less than 1 hour away from my house. At this point I'm just doing my time at FXF, the more experience the better.;)

I was mostly reading most of the threads on this forum, but was too lazy to post anything.:( I was on the 4-10 bid for a while and on my day off I was usually trying to get a road run or cover some rails, if they didn't have anything for me I would just do some stuff around the house. Then on the weekends I was mostly playing games. Unfortunately at the last bid I had to take extraboard/unassigned spot in the city, but one of our city drivers that had 4-10 bid is now in the big house for being a bad boy so we will probably re-bid soon and hopefully I will get the 4-10 bid again. I'll try and be more active now don't worry.;)
