Greetings to all you pros out there. I have had a Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement for over ten years and have been driving Limos out of Atlantic City off and on during that time (All you Big Pros, I was the one who got out of your way on the NJ Slumpike and GSP). Additionally, I was the Training Coordinator for Altantic Limousine for the Smith's System. In 2008, I was in an accident with my POV (other driver at fault) and went out on Disability in June 2009. Since then, I have had three surgeries (Cervical disectomy and Carpal Tunnel on both hands) and am close to a clean bill of health. I really would prefer to go OTR and give up the limos. One problem I have encountered is that in 1986 I got a DUI in Tustin, CA when I was an active duty Marine. I was transient and the time and missed my sentencing hearing so there is a 25 year old bench warrant still active. Guess I am going to have to fly out to Cali to handle that one. Other than that, one midemeanor in 2005 and no moving violations for over ten years. #### follies of youth are haunting me. Any advice from the Pros on what route to take? Not really in a place to pay for CDL school at the moment but might consider taking out a loan if it is more beneficial (Smith Solomon is closest school). Now, if any Recruiters are lurking, I don't mind you kicking in but remember I already got the big green weenie once from Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. Peace, blessings and a safe ride to all.

One step at a time, clear up the warrant. Then, talk with truck companies. If you are short on funds, look for companies that train. The misdemeanor might hurt you.

I see limo driver and all I can think is T-O-P-L-E-S-S, I'm sure there's plenty that agree with me, if not reference Ronnie the limo driver from Howard Stern. Sorry to de-rail the topic

Thanks. Luckily, I am not in a hurry, so I have time to take each step. The misdemeanor is six years old, so I think I might be ok. Won't find out until I try. Right now, I am eyeing Prime.
