Good luck man. I am with Dana/ltc now ,been here 3 months , running oil and some hazmat. I am gonna go talk to ISO side of Dana to see if they got something closer to my liking

You should go to terminal 539 Rahway terminal is a nightmare....you have had to seen the lot. ####s a ####ing mud pit with trailers everywhere. Along with people's cars, and tractors.
-
Or you could look into Bridgeport, NJ too they're right down the road.
-
I don't mind the potholes I'm used to that in NJ and some customers I go my main concern was parking since is stupid expensive to park around this area as long as they have the work and the pay is fair I'm good plus this is the first time in my career I don't have to pay tolls to get to work or parking
-
did more paperwork talk to some drivers and got the best answer when I asked for the owner operators "they are working"
I did the road test and pass it, my truck didn't pass this are the issues with it
1.oil leak from the back of the engine which could be anything from the housing(atleast 1500 dollars ) to the oil pan(about 300 dollars)
2. the fifth wheel has too much slack so need a new one(anywhere from 800 to 2k) that something that I completely ignore over the years
at no point during my talks with them they have mentioned lease purchase but I drove a mack truck today for the road test and I'm digging it
I have 3 weeks to fix it
btw @RogerThat72 how much do you pay for that truck... asking for a friend -

Ohh ok, the liquid cargo recruiter called me again asking me to reconsider working with them... I told him that they need more sugar to attract the bees and that I needed parking, easier access to my money and some kind of training besides the "learn as you go" my mechanic quoted me at 2500 for all the repairs.... It's kinda high just to get my foot in the door but let's see if it's worth it
-
Is your 5th wheel adjustable.....? And that's ain't something I'd ignore on a tank tractor....,,
ChicagoJohn, G13Tomcat and slim shady Thank this. -
Im going to get a new one it's about 1200 installed, and the adjusting screw on the plate is bended my mechanic is going to try to adjust it but I can't mess with safety, that little oil leak it's probably going to cost me 800 dollars and other little stuff another few hundred dollars but I will have a completely safe truck.... Mind you all my trucks passed a level 1 inspection days ago and they found a Uber minor leak.
G13Tomcat Thanks this.
