    Boasso became it's own company, quality energy is no longer because of the pipeline nonsense, so apax partners just got rid off most of their transportation assets

    I remember when jb Hunt and Schneider started putting their freight on rail and everybody said the same thing back then that the rail was going to take away the freight, and yet here we are some years later, and the freight is still here.

    Article says there will be significant opportunities for the drivers, so who knows. Might end up being a good deal. @Ruckie, I wonder if they are really going to keep the affiliates going like they are now. I had heard some time back that corporate was taking over some of the Affiliates. I know that 706 in Ft Worth went corporate and the 706 number went away. I wasn't surprised really as the Massey family had sold the terminal buildings and land to corporate back around 2010 when I was there and were leasing it back.
