I think you need to look at who is talking and what experience they have. You seem to get all flustered with things like complaining about Mark or when someone opposes you. Bored is ... well bored and I don't know what he knows but he can be right as you can be too. I don't live by his or your opinion on this stuff but I do know that it is different for everyone. What I mean is that I don't agree with the anal attitude some of you have, some of you guys take it to extremes when it is just a CB radio and it very limited. I get that others just want it to work and sound good without getting deep into the technical aspect. My mistake is I have been doing this for so long, I have a hard time simplifying it so sometimes my input can be frustrating.

But then I think the way he does about amps, I know how to make them work and can rework them so they become plug and play. SO I expect to just swap them out and they work. I don't worry about the jumper, phasing for the signal or anything like that, I pull a jumper from one and put it to another amp, it gets turned on, tuned (if it isn't solid state) and I go.

I don't think you need to try to get to the point that we need to look at wave forms and tell people that one class is better than another.

I use a class C amp on AM, it does not give me any issues, it works and produces a good signal. I've got the wall paper to provide proof. Compare that to my A/B amp which isn't as efficient as the C and actually is a pia, I get the same exact results on either one. I also have a pallet amp which works just as well on 2m AM, so to me you are picking the wrong issues to attack.

Simple answer he's a know it all he's real good at making assumptions and putting words in other people's mouths that they never said....he doesn't think before he speaks or posts replies....funny thing is there are cb shops and techs out here who knows who he is and he's a laughing stock to them... he will never admit when he's wrong about anything.... if he knows so much about cb' s----antennas and amps/linears he should open up the world's greatest cb shop of course in his mind it will be..... AND GO AWAY

Y'all nerds I'm over here running an off brand kobra with no antenna and no fuse from the battery getting a million miles. I replaced the modulation limiter with a paper clip and I aligned the receive circuit with a straightedge.

Edit: bought an amplifier. It's an old guitar amp from AC/DC. I just set the radio on top and boom I'm walking all over everyone else. And everything is grounded. The talk back was unacceptable so I grounded it for 2 weeks.

Sorry I really wanted to be part of the ridiculousness.

Well I agree with keep it simple I've never spend 5 cents for a tweekee peekee swing kits mods.to me are a joke...I never overdrive anything radio or amp... I prefer to keep a radio as close to stock specs as possible... if it's a 100 watt radio I want it doing 100 watts nothing more nothing less.... I love one cb shop shows written on a board that a 98v. Does 350 watts. Stock outta the box.. I smell poo poo and it stinks.

That's your problem I could care less...you have a lot knowledge ideas and experience but your to busy promoting your boy Mark bad mouthing everybody Chris other techs and everything else... nobody cares about your 45 mile cobra 29 good for you enjoy it. If you talked to stringbean from cali to pa. Good... your the only one on here making all those videos how many people do you really think watch them or have the time too. Be realistic you push everything to far. Their just opinions you act like a school kid... if your gonna help people help them if you have knowledge experience pass it on... but telling people oh you have antenna problems you have to master 4 watts. Before you can do this or that.. your opinion only....
