i bought a 40T RGN starting to rig it now

i was going to go with all 3/8 stuff but then i noticed the 3/8 ratchet binders are actually 5/16-3/8 so they are no better than 5/16 chain

what does everyone think about grab vs slip hooks

does anyone have D d rings on the inside of the main beam in the open area of the trailer
    seems that'd be handy

If you want to run 3/8 chain get the 3/8-1/2 binders. At least get the full rating of the 3/8” chain.

If I were setting up a 40 ton trailer and was going to leave the chains on the trailer I wouldn’t mess with to many 3/8” chains. Throwing 8 3/8” chains on a wheel loader because your gear is undersized is for the birds.
