Well I have heard alot what a DAC can and cannot do. First off like a CSA score mistakes are supposed to be inconsequential and removed after 3 years even the drug tests are supposed to roll off in 5 years and listings of previous employers fall off their record at 7 years. Well my long driving career ended by the things the Dac was supposed to do and not do. Now when this occurred 5 years ago I thought well the time lapse prove the non preventables and preventables which were nothing but fender benders with no injuries or police report or tickets well I was so wrong when I applied again a few weeks ago to drive again all of my driving history came up speaking of previous employers for 20 years now for a DMV report I haven't had a moving violation since 1998 and never placed out of service by the DOT now nowhere did they put my awards or achievements or how many level 1 level 2 level 3 inspections or all the passed drug screens going back to 1994 or the lives I saved by the side of the highway. They used a preventable from 2003 against me and a preventable from 2009 against me . I was always told they couldn't do this . I wonder if I can ever get another job driving for the major trucking companies now I think they got this info from previous employer verification packets I think a few of the companies I parted ways with legally but left employer animosities and I had previous history with the company I applied for used nothing more that a vendetta against me. I have consulted with a attorney and waiting for his reply.

    how.?

i had jb hunt leave it incorrectly open ended message on my dac, saying 'terminated/resigned' they know i quit, i never was terminated but they intentionally left the open ended message on the dac to be dishonest about it, rather than say 'resigned'.

i wanna go fight that dac entry and have them correct it to 'resigned' so future employers are not trying to figure out what happened then it becomes my word vs theirs type of thing.

ever since i quit jb hunt had hard time finding a job other than cr england or swift and i dont want to go to either of those companies.

I wouldn't worry about DAC. A company with any true business sense will look at the overall picture of a driver's work history, not just what happened one time (or three) at a competitor run by a vindictive manager. You DAC outfits out there think you'd put something on a driver's DAC and deny me a good driver? Think again. Unless you have a history of doing the same stupid BS, I'd hire you if you have no tickets and no wrecks and you've got the experience. I wouldn't pay attention to any crap on a DAC report.

Unless it’s a failed pre-employment drug screen, then your ####ed. Because you know, nobody makes mistakes.

If it's just DAC, simply send them dates where you quit and the dates they are saying you refused. Thanks to the fair credit reporting act they must investigate and remove wrong information.

If it's in the Clearinghouse, it can still be fought, but it's so new I'm not sure how effective it is.
    To dispute DAC: Directions
    To dispute Clearinghouse:
    • Log in & access the Clearinghouse dashboard
    • Go to ‘Violations’ & access you ‘Violation History’
    • Click ‘View Violation Details’ on the violation you wish to remove
    • Click the ‘Request to Remove Violation’ on the top right corner of the page
    • Fill out the ‘Reason for Violation Removal’ box using the guidelines mentioned above.

Does anyone know if FedEx custom critical reports to DAC? My co-driver is related to the owner so that’s no help and a lot of cause for my disdain. I want to quit but I fear my fleet owner will leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere or far from my hometown and with the little money we’ve made I can’t really afford to get home.

My plan is to quit on our next load which is near a major city that has cheap greyhound to my hometown. Pickup is not until early Friday and she wants to get there early to look at an APU problem/get truck washed/new wipers. I want to escape while we are there. Technically we will be under a load because we already accepted it. Will FedEx CC report this as load abandonment? I’ve been on this truck for two weeks and can’t sleep because I’m so stressed about how I’m going to pay bills. Co-driver was paired with me I never met her before this. For future readers DO NOT EVER AGREE TO THIS!!!!!

I was lied to about pay, didn’t realize that hazmat was needed to make good money here. I have been out of work with Covid so I rushed at what I should’ve known was too good to be true. I’m supposed to be out for 3 more weeks with this spawn of satan but I can’t keep wasting time here. I can run local and make more money. PLEASE HELP.

Again, dac doesn't matter.. Even if FedEx doesn't, when they are called by your new employer, which they legally have to do, FedEx can say anything that is truthful.

I won’t list them. This is a 1099 position and I’ve only been here two weeks.
