List of paperwork to check for the new year to keep legal?

If you google Maine trailer plates there are companies that handle the transaction for you. If Wisconsin is $100 for a lifetime plate and they do not require documents provided yearly to avoid property taxes that would be a bargain. Best I can remember the 12 year plate in Maine was about $200 or so. Since I already have a lifetime Ky plate I have a list of info in a file of what I send the clerk when the tax bill comes in the mail. If I did it over I would go with a plate that requires the least amount of my time even if it cost more.

 

Yeah...Was supposed to be the post about letting a shipper hold your license until you get your bills.Lol
