Automation.

Auto braking, auto cruise control, auto following distance control, auto transmissions, auto jake brakes, auto (electronic) logging, auto engine shut down (opti idle).

When a driver gets comfortable with automation, he/she becomes complacent. Complacency behind the wheel is deadly.

Abuse of technology via automation gonna be the death of us...

Truck drivers. Some of the most rude, inconsiderate, self - centered people I have ever met.

Once you have a plan to start fixing them and show me that plan, let me know and I'll come work for you. I'm in the beginning phase of finding my next company.

The biggest problem in the industry are whiny, noisy, disrespectful, selfish, inflexible, egotistical for no reason truck drivers.

Pain points ? Trucking is being taken over by illegal immigrant drivers and brokers, causing the rates to go downhill.
