lit toggle switches

    just wondering-have 1999 pete 379-want to replace toggle switches in dash with ones that have a diode in the end of them that lites up when you turn the headlites on--how would you hook them up-would want them to lite up whether switch off or onli

    should be a pretty simple install, some have a 3rd wire for the light, some just draw from the circuit, personally i would wire them in with the dash lights, on all the time

    This is what I would do, Find a constant on with key on(unless you want them on all the time:0) Wire them into that circuit and then be sure you know which switch you are replacing and be sure it gets wired into the switch that you want it to be, this is a good time to move the switches around, What I mean by that is run them back to front or top to bottom as you want them in your order rather then the factory order. I hope this makes sense.
