I've had my CDL's since 2010 but I have been out of a truck since then basically. I've only got 2 months OTR. Who will take a chance with the gap and little exp? Serious responses only please. Thanks.

Why do people suggest western express? Place is a joke.
VdotFoxx and joseph1135 Thank this. -
You may run into needing a refresher course... but, that is not a big deal.. right now is a good time for you to jump in as companies are gearing up for the busy fall season...

If the OP doesn't go with one of the listed companies, he may have to attend CDL school over again.
He can always start over with Swift flatbed CDL school; they have a terminal in NC.
Can always try Prime Inc. flatbed, but will have to go through their CDL school.
If Western Express takes you, tell them you want their flatbed division.Snowshoes Thanks this. -

Just apply where you want, and throw in a couple that may not be high on your list, but will take you with a gap. If anything you'd probably start out as a rookie. Like Tmc would be two week orientation, five with a trainer. You have your CDL, that's the biggest part. Most any bigger company would train you.

Come out to california and haul agriculture products. Haul grapes and tomatoes. Most companies recognize seasonal ag work as 1 year exp since the truck is moving 12 hours a day 7 days a week for 3 months. Ag work is local , you get home every night. You need. Doubles endorsement most of the time.
