I have been told by what I looked up & by trucking (us express and central )that I have to get my cdl from the state I reside in which is nc. Can anyone give me a list of community colleges in nc that can help me!

Also discover that pell grants can be used for trucking training is this true or is this false?
Also, I'm looking hard at Prime transport, how good are they and why?

Any info help me because as much ilove being home its time for me to get back to work and making money

Just looked up where merritt was, I have read a lot of posts saying it is hard to find a company that hires that close to the coast in NC, Good Luck.

Johnston co community college has one of the best schools in the country...used to part of NC state I think, but it is a great one. I've known several guys who attended there. here is the phone number..919-989-7007....worth a phone call at least.

yep that's a good program....I went to DCCC in mocksville and it's pretty much the same program. the state CC system took over the program. first rate. a lot of seat time, good instructors, good program all around. you'll be well prepared if you take that course. check out Epes....not sure how far east we hire but HDQ and main terminal is in Greensboro. we do have a bunch of freight down in and around the 95 corridor so check into it......#### good company. worth it if you can get in they take good care of us. good miles and good money, good equipment and hometime. I've been pretty happy here going on 2 years now
