How large is your fleet?

50 or 100 trucks?

Are you local or OTR or mixed?

I won't consider any tracking device until I get to 100 trucks for local work. OTR it would be much higher.

But then I would have both a CRM system and a fleet management system in place so I could better manage the trucks.

By the way, the blog post is a sales pitch. I would contact them and the other companies that provide these things and ask for a customer list to contact the customers of their products directly to get real live info about them.

I worked for a consulting firm 25 years ago that did this for beer and wine distribution services, they sold the customer on the savings they could reach which was never realised.

 

Are you sure you are not advertising your comp. Most people will say what they have and ask for advice, but in your case you are not telling us what you have now just pushing that comp, plus you are new to this forum, i smell BS
