Business Practices: The company operates with transparency and integrity. Allegations of overcharging or illegal practices regarding ELDs are taken seriously AND ARE DEFFAMATORY. If you are so brave to state such a thing, why don't you go by your real name so we know who to sue for this defamation.

Owner's Background: Personal attacks or assumptions regarding the owner’s past are irrelevant. The fact that a former safety officer was caught using a company card for her business can be proven. I have screenshots of our conversation on this subject. Cash advances given to some drivers and being split between her and them while I was unable to oversee the business can be subject to a lawsuit.

My profile name is my company name. I don't hide. Why don't you, "FRED," disclose and state your fuel name? If you are so full of facts, why don't you sue me personally? We are talking a large sum of money here if you prove your point.

Scammers like "Fredflingstone" are ruining the industry. The fact that I am Serbian proves what exactly? Why don't you disclose your nationality so we can actually discuss it here and publicly? Macedonian people are from the same area. This is pure discrimination against what you are doing.

FYI: We have a lawyer who is on retainer. She is waiting for the full disclosure on your and your "drivers" side so we can resolve this in ja ust and civil manner.

After reviewing your company on SAFER you seem to have a middle-of-the-road safety record. Not too terrible, but not good either.
Okay.
A huge red flag for me is the highlighted section above. Your attempt to validate your claim of not scamming drivers by saying there is no claim with Dept. of Labor. As your company website only show opportunity for owner operators, the Dept. of Labor wouldn't be involved as it is a 1099 situation. As a business owner in the trucking industry, you would know this. So, that screams to me that you are full of what comes out of the south end of a northbound bull.
It could be the original poster embellished things to make it look worse, but you have had a few drivers put out of service for ELD violations. Those here that know what that means would pause before signing on with you.
You say you have screenshots and other proof that this is a vindictive former employee.

By the way, why would you leave beautiful Downers Grove Illinois to relocate to Dayton Ohio?

 

Smart money says that they got caught up (and called out) by the State of Illinois for their practices and they pulled up stakes and left for Ohio to pull the same stunts all over again.

When my brother worked for DuPage County Sheriffs Department they were getting calls ALL THE TIME from trucking companies in their jurisdiction because drivers were harassing the trucking companies,only to find out that said companies didn’t pay the drivers like they were supposed to. Now my brother is a no nonsense/no BS type of person,and on those calls he would tell those companies to pay that driver what you owe(even the sheriffs department are fed up with those calls).

 

Please read the text carefully. We are requesting that a person provides proof of the defamatory statement mentioned in the review. Furthermore, when posting a negative review about a company—particularly concerning drivers, dispatchers, and accounting personnel—person is stating that they have knowledge of the ongoing Department of Labor cases OR NOT JUST THESE. These statements do damage companies owner, employees, drivers and had to be backed up. The obligation of the proving is on the one accusing by the law.
Your insights are valuable, but accuracy and context are crucial in such matters. You specificlay do not have knowledge of this situation and should let the person this post is adressed to, to reply.

 

Do you honestly think that anyone that would sign a fleece with you would look on TTR first before doing it? Granted, they SHOULD, but - they dont...

Someone already mentioned that 1099 companies (thats YOU) have nothing to do with the department of labor, so it only makes sense that there are no cases pending against you in that regard.

Im not a lawyer, but my lawyer has said that I would have made a good one, so in that vein...

I know a contractor doing work on my house can put a mechanics lien on it if I dont pay him. I wonder if that can be done to a 1099 company that didnt pay me as well? If I was a guy that the company shorted me out of money I would certainly look into something like that.
