my boss said he was gonna report me for "load abandonment" when i parked the truck on Thursday i told him i was not feeling well and needed some time off.
he toke the truck and had it loaded for a delivery later in the week.
when i told him i was to sick to go back out on the road...he said this ant no democracy and if i didn't take the load to be delivered he would report me for "load abandonment" needless to say i was to sick to go back out...he told me to get stuff out of the truck and said he will calculating the cost for the load abandonment to take from my pay. any suggestion?

I would have said to boss why don't you deliver the load you got it loaded. Hes going to get you for ld abandonment i'd be sueing him.It might be a long drawn out battle but we can't let employers keep getting away with things like this.

Google it I think if you get nailed for load abandonment that's a CDL loss. Not sure but I would still fight it in court.
