What are your experiences with working with a company ( Shipper/Broker ) who has there own loadboard ?
Has there been any good ones with lots of loads across the country ?
Are the state wide only ?
How often do they fulfill your need ?
How difficult ( or easy ) is it to get established with a company like one mentioned ?
I ask because I was invited to a company loadboard, they had lots of loads... just not where I was at the current time. I was wondering does anyone work with any companies like this?
Thank You

Like you said, there is nothing there. Hasn't been for months on any of them. Hell, my phone used to ring off the hook from 9 to 5 throughout the week.
I dropped my authority and leased on with Schneider, now their load board has freight.
What exactly are you looking to do? As your profile infers that you are not a trucker.

jb, cr englend. and marten all have load boards.
i think jb would would give you the best rate and cr englend would give you the worst.
to qualify you just have to show your dot and mc # and agree to put the carrier on as a second party holder to your cargo insurence policy -
Hi all fellow truckers, I am looking into getting my own authority and truck. A buddy of mine has done the same thing about 2 yrs ago and is doing pretty good for himself. My question is has anyone had any problems getting loads off of load boards because they are just starting out. I know that they want operating authority, insurance, etc... but if all of this was very new including my cdl, would I have a problem getting loads? Thanks for all the help!!
Hi all fellow truckers once again, I recently read a post on here that a new driver with a new cdl was having problems getting loads off of loadboards such as GetLoaded...etc because there MC number was so new. Someone posted a reply saying to try to buy someones MC number that was retiring. Is this possible, legal. If you can do this is the process the same as getting ur own MC number?
Hi all fellow truckers, I was wondering how many people out there own there own truck and run their own loads with thier authority off of Loadboards such as internettruckstop and such. And how u like it? Thanks for all the replies!!Last edited by a moderator: Jul 29, 2009

What is the best load board out there??? How many Owner Operators, Fleet owners, Trucking Companies actually use the load Boards? Which is the best one?
I own a fleet of trucks and have been in business for 3 years. I use a few brokers on a regular Basis, have a couple customers, and the rest of the time its hit or miss with loads here and there. Just wondering which load boards are the best and how many of you insiders out there belong to these load boards. Thanks for the info!! -
People seem to like internettruckstop.
Getloaded is another popular one. -
theres the dieselcafe and the rightnow loads is a new one

I was checking out getloaded earlier. I like the layout, but I've never delt with an internet site for a load. Just TS load boards and my broker in my back pocket. Which I can not get in touch with so getting back in the seat is gonna be hard.

from what i hear getloaded is a good one but personally i've never used it. I have a few friends that have used it before and they gave it good reviews but what's good for one may not be for another.
