I have a Request to anyone out there who isn't paranoid ! about sharing Information about Load Boards and how much they Pay ?
I want to get ' Ball Park ' Figures for what Loads Pay ? For Either Dry, Reffer,or Both.
Unfortunatley Every Load board site I go to wants that person to already be an O/O ?
I mean I even Tried to Contact these Load Boards and tell them I WILL PAY there Monthly Fees !
Just so I can SEE what Loads Pay in what parts of the Country...What Lanes....Etc....
But they all keep saying : " You HAVE TO be either a O/O,or a Company with a D.O.T. Number.
So IF there's anyone out there that Can CUT & PASTE Examples of what Load Boards Pay ?
I don't know If you can do that on this Fourm ?....I don't want to get in trouble for asking.
So If you can ? Let me know and I'll send you my E-mail,and you can Cut & Paste the Info that way to me.
Keep on Truckin'....

Don't you have any friends who are owner operators who you can ask?
Would be a lot easier to just give them a call. -
Lots of loadboards don't put prices. Freightfinder .com is free, full of brokers. Call them and see what kinda numbers they kick at you.

If we told you we'd have to kill you.

Why does everyone think these load boards list prices??? All they give you is some basic information about pick up and delivery points, trailer type and approximate weight. None of that has to be accurate either. Maybe 1%, if that, will list a price, the rest say call. Next time your in the truckstop, go to the dat board and write down some loads and numbers and call the brokers. That's all you'd be doing if Internet Truckstop gave you access.

You live in Miami. Maybe this will give you an idea.
Miami going north. $0.75-$1.00 per mile.
Jacksonville going north. $1.00-$1.50 per mile.
Atlanta going north. $$2.00-$3.00 per mile.
New England going south, or west. $0.75-$1.50 per mile -
And during the season when rates go up to $2+ outbound, inbound FL rates drop due to demand.
