Wondering if a guy can make a good living using load boards to stay in western Canada mostly.

I have a reefer, and a jeep\Hayrack for logs. I'm willing to get a step or flat or super B. I'm not really current on highway rates. I make money hauling logs, but I really prefer to get settled in for a good highway drive rather than shuttle back and forth for 14 hrs a day. Thanks

Reefer and dry box is a suicide mission. Only hope is to get hooked up with a regular customer. Living off the board is impossible out that way. If I was out there I'd have a flat or step.. Or just haul logs. I am in a different spot though, getting tired of sleeping in the truck...

The last 2 yrs , I have a steady reefer run from April till July, then I've hauled logs till till spring again. I am mostly looking at getting out of logs. Living in the truck is brutal on the log haul. I suspected the highway rates were not very good. Sounds like loading boards might not be the answer
