    I'm curious when a broker gives you the miles on a load, what are they using to calculate the miles? Is it the ripoff HHG miles, practical miles? When you get a mileage from a broker do you just automatically add 10% plus your deadhead? Just curious how you can get a load and right off your head know the rate, guess that comes with experience. I'd have to sit there with a calculator and atlas (or gps) to figure out my cost...or do you just use your best guess on what it would cost you?

    I quickly do a mapquest for the deadhead miles. ITS has practical and Pro miles on most loads, The Landstar board that we see as we aren't leased onto Landstar doesn't show the miles, so its another quick mapquest.

    I do the miles and how much I need to do the load before I call on the load and if its not what I want I just thank them for there time and tell them to have a great day and hang up!

    LOL MN Doing pretty good...As good as Rollin? probably not... but we have only been with Bill for about 6 weeks and have a pretty good Gig going for the next month or so.

    Best decision we ever made was to Lease onto BBB....In our opinion!
