hey guys and gals im coming up on 6 months experience driving a ten wheeler Class B pump truck. job is going good but I have a strong desire to get into something bigger. i have a class a with tanker and am studying for hazmat. anyone know how i could get some "A" time? i was thinking of waste management, beverage, and construction jobs but i know ill be in a Class B for who knows how long...should i sacrifice my home everynight job to go OTR for my experience? the idea of moving to texas with the lady is still an idea up in the air to work in the oilfields driving something larger. any other suggestions? happy memorial day to everyone!!!

I do not believe your class B job will qualify you for a class A job.

so if you want to go otr, you may need to get refresher training.

Soda companies or beer distributors with side loaders. Its busting ### kind of work, but it will get you some class a experience. OTR is probably your best bet.
