lol. I don't even remember when I figured out how to do it. I guess I just got sick of having the rear of my trailer sticking out and me hanging off of it in rush hour traffic. Some of the places we have to get in and out of are crazy.

What's funny is I can I think parallel park the big truck better then I can parallel park my 2000 F-150.

I don't know if my backing up has improved or gone another direction since I started driving big trucks. I used to be able to back my Ford Econoline 250 cargo van any where now for what ever reason I swear I have a harder time backing my truck or car up I keep wanting to turn the wheel the wrong way!

I posted on here somewhere my straight truck is getting a tad rusty! (Don't have to much experience with straight trucks) Drove a couple School Buses when I was getting my bus endorsement and drove our straight truck at work a couple times in the very beginning, but that's about it.

Gonna start getting my stuff together for Sheridan technical institute this coming week, class starts March 13th. Getting a afternoon job 330-10 and gonna press through some long days for the 9 weeks but it will be worth it. Gotta start applying at some places soon so I can get a jump start. Pretty excited to finally get myself a good career going.

    thanks for all replies

Just finished my first day of CDL training at Sheridan technical college. Very excited to get this started and get myself going towards a great job. Gonna look into possibly doing some side load driving for one of the beverage companies. Possibly Pepsi or Coke or one of the beer distributors. But will explore all possible local avenues.

Good luck to you. Please try to stay away from OTR companies. 99% of them are just junk! I hope you find a great local career that will benefit you and your family by having you home every night like you should be.

You are so right, I tried being otr for a very short time and hated it.

Beverage delivery is a decent gig and not bad money if you hustle. I did it in the 90's and enjoyed it. Best of luck!!!

Thank you guys. I actually prefer the delivery gigs Cuz I want the physical work so I don't get fat sitting in a truck all day (I would! I'm prone to getting overweight easily)
