    Trucking is never set. You are never done. Even if the sun set you will continue dumping blacktop into the paver now that's it's less hot and easier to work. No, you are not finished. There is no quitting time.

    find a job hauling cans out of the ports. That will toughen you up if you can survive all the pushy locos and surly longshoreman.

    Look into driving a transfer dump. I went to that within my company. Gotta love the 5 am start time, banker hours. Construction can be stressful but it's fun. Transfer dump is Class A experience.
