Pay is .62 cpm. When you get to customer they give you an electric pallet jack to offload the freight and pay you $26.25 an hour to do so. All insurance premiums are paid by the company and they contribute $201 per week into your 401k

Sho Nuff, speedyk and brtecson Thank this.

That’s a decent area to run. Not going to spend much time tied up in traffic and you won’t miss any of the 6 months of winter:D

You will need to be able to come to winnipeg. I see 3-4 trucks a night heading up here.

You might also want to check out H. Brooks in New Richmond or SuperValu or ABF

@skinnytrucker sounds like a great gig you landed. Hope it works out for you.

SuperValu is also a great gig too. Pay is phenomenal, benefits are free and you don't have to touch a thing. EASY work. @Pintlehook works there, but he hasn't been an active member for over a year. Very similar to ACME over in the NE. They use to be one company before Albertsons took over ACME...but they still have some odd relationship though. Pay is basically the same for both companies. Only real difference is the retirement. Both are Union gigs, but SuperValu has a 401k plan... whereas ACME has a Pension and a $4 an hour severance pay.

But anyways, you can't go wrong in the Grocery industry. If I weren't happy at where I'm working at now..I would be right along there with you in the Grocery industry.
