Local work for O/O in the Houston area?

    Hey guys, me and the wife are looking to move to the Houston area.
    I would really appreciate it if any of you guys from the houston area can recommend decent paying companies that run local. Thanks

    How much experience of what do you have? How much money are you looking for ? ( hr /week ) and what is your tolerance for overnights, nites, weekends etc?

    Thanks for responding. I have five years experience on my cdl, which prety much breaks down 1y Tanker,1y flatbed and the other 3 years have been dry van /refer.

    I dont mind a few nights away from home (1-3) days, just not looking to live on the road anymore.

    As far as pay, between 2k -2500k weekly would cover all the bills.

    Ok that's LP only . Not going to make that company. Pressed to get that every two weeks company. Probably have to go chemical too.
    Off the top of my head I'd say Enterprise crude. Pays hourly, bennies on day one, retirement available.

    Or I can hook you up with intermodal tank. You would have to buy a mule on LP and run it smartly. Learn the ports, get TWIC etc . but would meet your needs.

    LP = lease purchase. Check these threads to get a 50,000 foot level view of what lease purchases involve. Some good, some bad, just another way to do business.
