    I'm looking for local jobs in colorado springs I have applications in at first fleet not my ideal job but still better hometime, also solar transport but they are hazmat and I just did my background check for that on Monday so will be a little while longer to get it , I've combed through Craigslist and local papers but nothing promising there .. I have 3 1/2 years otr reefer with just one company prime inc , 1 speeding ticket a few months ago but other than that a clean record , .. so does anyone know of any decent local jobs in that area

    Springs is tough. A lot of LTL and Foodservice have their man center in Den. A lot of companies have small terminal or rented lots in the cities surrounding. When I worked for US Foods that's how their yard in the springs is rented at Ryder. So a lot of people hold on to their jobs in the area like a small town mentality. My current company Reddaway has a small lot there too with two or three employees. All you can do is always look especially during April-Summer. Seen UPS freight have a spot there. A lot of people commute to Denver for home daily or weekly driving jobs.

    I have checked out First Fleet in Fountain, I don't know if it's local or anything but you could check them out

    First fleet is dedicated out of fountain home every other day , runs to Dillon stores in Kansas and Nebraska and back empty 35.5 cpm starting pay and it's hub miles at least that's the info I got from the recruiter

    Thank you I looked at their website haz mat is required I'm waiting for my background check to come in for hazmat once I get it I may submit an app if they are still hiring

    Submit now and let them know your just waiting for the background check. They are very strict so be 100% honest on your app. They will know everything about the last 10 years of your life when it's done. There hiring process is very long so don't get frustrated
