Wow, Schneider is so cheap there's no driver service at Laredo on the weekend in the evening?

If they're in that bad of shape financially maybe they need to look at Management!

 

Same thing in Atlanta last night. Sign on the desk said to call Charlotte for after hours support. I stopped by to pick up Efs checks, not to have a phone conversation with someone 300 miles away.

 

Maybe they have finally run it into the ground.

 

Dallas is the same way.

 

I just got done pouring the milk in and put the bowl down on the cooler lid. When I realized that I hadn't put the cereal box away, I opened the pantry door instead of just doing one thing at a time and bam. Knocked the whole dang thing over. Serves me right for not sticking to my cheerios and raisin bran.

 

Hunts Point, Bronx. I have a lovely noon appointment here tomorrow. I left home exactly when my 34 was up thinking I'd sneak in to the city, get turned around in the empty parking lot and grab a spot that would set me up for an easy back tomorrow. Nope. There's 8 other trucks here who all had the same idea. Ive never seen more than 1 truck here at night. I guess theyre all catching on to how much of a cluster it is during the day. This week is gonna suck starting so late.

Also my dbl/dispatcher is out for 3 weeks starting tomorrow. My old DBL who left the account 2 months ago is filling in along with a dispatcher coming down from Green Bay. It's probably not gonna be a very pretty few weeks.

 

I go to a dirt track race every year up there and it's a 3 day race. We stay at the Fairfield Inn next to that Petro parking lot while we are there and I always ask for a room on the side of the Hotel overlooking that parking lot so I can sit and watch the trucks when we're in the room just for something to do. The guys I'm there with think I'm ate up with it, gotta be something I guess.

 

The Fruity Pebbles are worth it! Well, when they aren't on the floor. LOL
